Downwind sails

• Spinnaker (symmetrical) – wind in the stern, "balloon"; looking for tangun and coordination.

• Genaker / asymmetric A-sails – wider reaching range, easier handling, ideal for performance cruising.

Storm sails

• Storm jib – small, super-strong front jib; signal orange as standard.

• Trysail – replacement for the mainsail in a storm; no boom, lower center of gravity.
